Delay in filming…

Our group was supposed to film last week for our short film, but unfortunately, we had to cancel due to busy schedules and limited access to transportation. As we are a group of four, it is often difficult to get everyone in one place, especially with after-school activities and parents having to work. While this was an inconvenience that slowed down our production, we knew it was predictable and that we would have to adapt to it. Therefore, we decided to reschedule filming for this week instead.

Since the delay, we have been productive in managing our time and have discussed ideas for future filming. However, one issue that has come up is the location. There are certain places where filming is not allowed, and unfortunately, there's not much we can do about it. In such cases, we have decided to improvise with the environment by filming in an alternate store or parking lot. We are confident that we will be able to work around any obstacles that come our way during production.

Our plan is to film everything in a day to knock it out simultaneously, rather than scene by scene. Although this might be challenging, we are prepared and have planned everything in advance. In terms of roles, we have decided that we might all act in the film if we can find an additional person to film us. If not, one of us will have to film instead of being in the video, which is not ideal but necessary.

For props, we have not planned anything specific, but we will be sure to include any ideas that pop up. One advantage of filming in a mall is the variety of locations within one area, and there are stores with potential prop ideas that might help the film's story. We have decided to keep the costumes casual to fit in with the story of teenagers.

When it comes to filming, we have decided to use an iPhone, as it has sufficient quality for the film, with many options to adjust and enhance it. It also has good audio quality in case we want to capture any diegetic sound. For editing, one person will be assigned to edit the film based on their past experience and expertise. In the past, we have used iMovie as our preferred editing software.

We are excited to officially begin the production of our short film and can't wait to see the final result
