 INT. Mall-Day


Friends Wilson and Jacob are shopping at the mall having a conversation about the best type of shoes.


Scene 1

Jacob: Did you hear about the new Jordans?


Wilson: Yeah man they’re pretty fire, we should go get us some.


Jacob: Bet let's go


Wilson: Bet


*Jacob and Wilson dap up*

*As Jacob and Wilson walks to the nearest foot locker they notice Erica in the distance*

Jacob: Yo, is that Erica? 

Wilson *squints* Yeah I think that’s her


*jacob and wilson makes their way to erica and they make conversation while heading into the store

Scene two: Inside a shoe and clothes store

Wilson and Jacob are looking at shoes while they notice their friends Erica and Macy at the store together


Wilson: Hey Jacob, do you think Erica and Macy are acting weird?


*Erica is shivering in the corner and Macy is frozen in fear*


Jacob: I don’t think so, why?


Wilson: I don’t know. Ever since we all went to that haunted house, Macy has just lost it and claims to see things.


Jacob: Pftt, She’s fine. She's probably just a little freaked out still.


Wilson: But it's been 2 weeks since the party. I know she was scared but its been a long time. 


Jacob: Yea maybe you’re right, we should check up on her. Macy doesn’t look too good either.


*Jacob and Wilson walk up to Macy first to see if shes okay*


Jacob: Hey Macy, are you alright? You’ve been standing there for like a minute straight.


Macy (scared): You both need to go right now. You need to run as far away as possible from her. I know I sound crazy but I’m trying to save you. Trust me and run before its too late.


Wilson: Why? Whats happening with Erica? If something’s happening to her then I have to help her. *Wilson reaches for Ericas shoulder*


Macy: Wait, don't touch her!


*Wilson’s body gets frozen before he can touch her.* What’s going on? I can’t move my body!


Erica: You should have listened and ran like she said. After what you all did to me, I’ll never let your souls rest in peace.


Jacob (scared): What could we have done to make you this mad?


Erica: I’ll tell you then. It all started with the Halloween Party.



Scene 3 - Flashback (Party)


Jacob: Ay man this party is so hype

Wilson: I know right!

Erica: Hey this party is pretty overwhelming for me guys, maybe we should call it a night and just go home.


Macy: Hey c'mon Erica, the party’s just getting started.

Erica: I know it's just a lot for me. 

Jacob: Erica stop being a scaredy cat, live a little! 

Wilson: Yeah dummy it's time to let loose for a change

(eyeing something from her peripheral)

(Jacob notices the small glances at nothing from Macy)

Jacob: Hey guys maybe we should tone the party just a little. Erica is acting a little… off

Wilson: Not you too Jacob. Just relax and have a good time bro!

Jacob: Hmmm well alright 

(Erica eyeing a mask from another partyer her heart rate increases and then she faints)

Everyone: ERICAAAAAAAA

(Everyone gathering around Erica)

(Scene fades)


Cut back to present

Final Day of Filming for my Music Video

On the second day of filming, I finished filming all of the storyboard panels for my music video. I have to say that it was not an easy task. I had a lot of time to myself, so I decided to use that time to actually finish everything, but it wasn't easy because it felt like a time crunch even though I was free to do whatever I wanted. There were still a lot of scenes to finish from where I had left off, and I had to refilm some of them because the clips were too blurry for the final product. I also recorded scenes that I would edit into the music video to give it more personality and easter eggs, which sort of fits the theme of my music video anyway. It was also difficult to change costumes because I play both characters and edit myself into it. It's a difficult task, but it's not impossible. But what I did was work on all of the scenes for the first subject and then change into costume to fit into the second subject; the only difficult part was that I might have had to swit...

  - What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The opening sequence has one title card that starts with the name of the movie, starting off from white to red   - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? One image that gets prioritized heavily is the phone of Casey Becker. Another thing that gets prioritized is the house such as the doors, the kitchen, the stove. - What connotations do these images carry? The phone shows a mysterious voice that keeps on dialing her. The stranger continuously asks odd questions that begin to get intimidating. The movie uses the phone as a way to scare the viewer as the ringing continues. The movie also displays many parts of the house to make the viewer believe there is a mysterious danger lurking in a place meant to be safe. - How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?  For my Commerical Project, I will work alone. I think its the best way to go for me because I'm not really trusting of other people because I have no actual clue if they'll do the work or not and in the past I've had lots of issues with people not completing what they're supposed to be doing even with my friends. I can't really rely on others so that's why I'm holding full responsibility for this project. Working alone isn't terrible either, on the bright side I won't have to nudge people into doing their work until they get annoyed with me because I hate being a bother to others as well. Being independent also means this project will be my own unique thoughts without interference. I like working out ideas by myself although critique is necessary I want this project to be my own authentic piece and my own authentic ideas. Having other people's ideas doesn't really make this my own and I may not like what others come up with so I trust myself...
