Comparing Nine, the short, and Nine, the full-length movie

So the short film on nine was straight to the point . There wasn’t any dialogue, but you could tell that there  was a beginning, middle and end. It took me a minute to figure out the character development. then I realized after watching the trailer and a short film that they were only trying to survive.  Unfortunately one ended up not surviving.  There was some effects that made it look like an old film and had that cinema look. The impression I got from the plot is that two creations from human for trying to survive. What happened was that being in the war  caused no human to be left. The film, however, had more dialogue to it. It kind of had a flashback to where the human was making this creation. there were a lot of close-ups in the film more than a short filmed, and emphasize that personal feeling to feel like you were there. The character development was clearly there as one is found lost out of a troop and another is trying to figure out what’s going on. They also included some digestion with the soundtrack to connect with what’s going on in a specific scene. Comparing these both, there are a lot of differences than I expected. The short film didn’t have any dialogue while the full film did. The full film did start out with no speaking however.  The explanation of the idea of this story was presented. Unlike the short film, it just presented me with in the moment scenes. Overall I liked the full film more because it told a story more and it gave me something to look forward to in continuous scenes. Like I said before, it was hard to tell what the film was about from the short film.
