Final Changes
This will be the final production blog we make before our grand finale, and technically this is our finishing touches blog. If we remember we've done a film review where I showed some individuals I knew my film so far and they gave their honest opinion and what I could do to change it. Although it received mostly a positive reaction I did get some criticism so I would like to fix some of the issues the audience saw so it wont be a displeasure-able viewing experience for everyone else. The first piece of criticism I got was about the lighting and how It didn't match the environment at all. What I did was adjust all the clips brightness and saturation so all of them would have the same amount of color to it and It doesn't look like it was filmed at different times. I also adjusted the shadows and the colors to fit the eerie vibe that we are aiming for with this film. Another piece of criticism I got was how some clips would unnaturally cut to one another and it had no sort of flow or anything, which can easily confuse the audience if there are sudden cuts to different scenes and no one would know why it changed so quickly. I fixed this by adding light transitions, for example when the camera pans I can easily add the next clip to flow into the shot and It wont look like such a jump cut. I also added some fade ins and outs toward the beginning and the end and when the friends arrive to the home. Doing all of that really helped improve the film's flow and I'm really proud of how it looks. After all of the finishing touches I have finally completed the project.
