Editing Fiasco


 Okay so now were facing a major issue. Honestly I really did not take it into consideration that this may happen but as I was editing my program had suddenly bugged out and I thought this was a simple crash but as I went back in to edit like normal it reset my progress entirely from back to the beginning. Beginning as in when I put in the clips and never cut it up to make it fit our time limit. As if that wasn't bad enough I had also lost a scene we filmed and could have been only in the film itself. To say that I'm overwhelmed and disappointed is an understatement. I worked really hard to get this all together and all of a sudden today was the day to just magically erase all of my progress. I have decided to cancel this filming day and I went back to the drawing board to see what other programs I may use that wont cause an issue like this again and or finding ways to recover the progress I already had. I know this may seem like alot but I'm trying to keep myself contained and calm because I know with the right amount of spunk and spirit I'll be able to re do all of this and or maybe fix all of this mess. Either way it is a sad day for me but I know this will all get figured out eventually.

Final Day of Filming for my Music Video

On the second day of filming, I finished filming all of the storyboard panels for my music video. I have to say that it was not an easy task. I had a lot of time to myself, so I decided to use that time to actually finish everything, but it wasn't easy because it felt like a time crunch even though I was free to do whatever I wanted. There were still a lot of scenes to finish from where I had left off, and I had to refilm some of them because the clips were too blurry for the final product.   - What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The opening sequence has one title card that starts with the name of the movie, starting off from white to red   - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? One image that gets prioritized heavily is the phone of Casey Becker. Another thing that gets prioritized is the house such as the doors, the kitchen, the stove. - What connotations do these images carry? The phone shows a mysterious voice that keeps on dialing her. The stranger continuously asks odd questions that begin to get intimidating. The movie uses the phone as a way to scare the viewer as the ringing continues.  For my Commerical Project, I will work alone. I think its the best way to go for me because I'm not really trusting of other people because I have no actual clue if they'll do the work or not and in the past I've had lots of issues with people not completing what they're supposed to be doing even with my friends. I can't really rely on others so that's why I'm holding full responsibility for this project. Working alone isn't terrible either, on the bright side I won't have to nudge people into doing their work until they get annoyed with me because I hate being a bother to others as well. Being independent also means this project will be my own unique thoughts without interference. I like working out ideas by myself although critique is necessary I want this project to be my own authentic piece and my own authentic ideas. Having other people's ideas doesn't really make this my own and I may not like what others come up with so I trust myself...
