Editing Blog Day Two

 After the whole fiasco of the last editing day, I went back in to see if I could still fix this because I was not ready to give up on the lost project just yet. After about an hour and a half of doing some research and pulling some strings I actually managed to find a backup before everything was lost. But retrieving this backup would prove to be quite difficult

because it was a backup for my entire iPad. This meant I had to back all of my stuff up to before this all happened which was a little frustrating but I did transfer most of the important stuff my laptop and phone before I did so I wouldn't be losing any more very important content for school. After I backed up my iPad I looked to my program to see the project back the way it was finally. It wasn't everything that I had finished but it was at least it was enough to just re do the little things and pretend this mistake had never happened. I am truly so glad I figured out a way to fix this major issue because of how little time we had, redoing the project would have caused many problems and could lead us to a very bad consequences. After the recovery I finally started to re do and finish the entire project, some of the new things I had added were more text titles in towards the beginning, as well as smooth transitioning between scenes so it does not look wonky and out of place. I also added coloring to add onto the atmosphere of where our film is taking place and white time it had been as well. After another long agonizing hour of doing non stop work I believe I had finished everything needed to be done. Even with this having such a short run time it was very difficult it to maintain it under the run time requirements. But I am extremely happy and excited to get this over and needless to say I think i'm proud of the outcome as well. I do want the critique of others again to see how they feel before it is submitted, and I will make

a small changes if they do mention that there needs to be some changes respectfully.

Final Day of Filming for my Music Video

On the second day of filming, I finished filming all of the storyboard panels for my music video. I have to say that it was not an easy task. I had a lot of time to myself, so I decided to use that time to actually finish everything, but it wasn't easy because it felt like a time crunch even though I was free to do whatever I wanted. There were still a lot of scenes to finish from where I had left off, and I had to refilm some of them because the clips were too blurry for the final product.   - What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The opening sequence has one title card that starts with the name of the movie, starting off from white to red   - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? One image that gets prioritized heavily is the phone of Casey Becker. Another thing that gets prioritized is the house such as the doors, the kitchen, the stove. - What connotations do these images carry? The phone shows a mysterious voice that keeps on dialing her.  For my Commerical Project, I will work alone. I think its the best way to go for me because I'm not really trusting of other people because I have no actual clue if they'll do the work or not and in the past I've had lots of issues with people not completing what they're supposed to be doing even with my friends. I can't really rely on others so that's why I'm holding full responsibility for this project. Working alone isn't terrible either, on the bright side I won't have to nudge people into doing their work until they get annoyed with me because I hate being a bother to others as well. Being independent also means this project will be my own unique thoughts without interference. I like working out ideas by myself although critique is necessary I want this project to be my own authentic piece and my own authentic ideas. Having other people's ideas doesn't really make this my own and I may not like what others come up with so I trust myself...
