One element that I like about Horror is the antagonists of the genre usually have incredible and horrifying designs to shock the viewers. Another element of horror that I enjoy is the versatility as Horror can leave you stunned with the amount of gore and death or can leave you questioning your sanity like the protagonist in the movie. Finally, the music is another incredible aspect of Horror and can often increase the mood of tenseness, horror, anticipation, etc. Music and overall sound design are crucial parts of Horror films.

One element that I don't like about Horror is the number of cliches that normally get jammed into every movie (Characters Clumsiness, Splitting Up, Non-Believing Authority). Another element of Horror that I don't enjoy is when a Horror movie's only way to scare an audience is through simple jumpscares instead of building a tense and creepy plot.
