Complicated Day for Filming


I've started working on the production and filming of my music video, and it hasn't been without its challenges. I had to start by waiting for some bad cloudy weather to clear so I could get some sunny and cute shots for my storyboard, and it took a while, but eventually the sun did come out and it looked super amazing, I was very concerned about getting some bad weather that day and I wasn't really expecting it because it's currently December and you'd think the weather would be perfect and cold, but we live in Florida, so weather just happens. When I first started filming, I needed to find some good lighting for the first shots because I wanted to use natural light rather than artificial lights. Just to make it more natural and pleasing to the video's aesthetic. Once I found the perfect lighting, I filmed a few of the first shots without much difficulty; there were a few retakes here and there, but nothing major. But then I started to struggle with some of the angles I was trying to achieve, so I had to enlist the help of my brother to get some angles for the video, which worked out perfectly. It's nice to have some assistance here and there because filming a music video on your own is a difficult task. After that, I stopped filming around the Ninth panel; there is still a lot more ground to cover, but it is a lot less complicated to film and can be done in a reasonable amount of time. I'm very excited to keep filming, and I hope everything goes well.

Final Day of Filming for my Music Video

On the second day of filming, I finished filming all of the storyboard panels for my music video. I have to say that it was not an easy task. I had a lot of time to myself, so I decided to use that time to actually finish everything, but it wasn't easy because it felt like a time crunch even though I was free to do whatever I wanted. There were still a lot of scenes to finish from where I had left off, and I had to refilm some of them because the clips were too blurry for the final product.   - What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The opening sequence has one title card that starts with the name of the movie, starting off from white to red   - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? One image that gets prioritized heavily is the phone of Casey Becker. Another thing that gets prioritized is the house such as the doors, the kitchen, the stove. - What connotations do these images carry? The phone shows a mysterious voice that keeps on dialing her. The stranger continuously asks odd questions that begin to get intimidating. The movie uses the phone as a way to scare the viewer as the ringing continues.  For my Commerical Project, I will work alone. I think its the best way to go for me because I'm not really trusting of other people because I have no actual clue if they'll do the work or not and in the past I've had lots of issues with people not completing what they're supposed to be doing even with my friends. I can't really rely on others so that's why I'm holding full responsibility for this project. Working alone isn't terrible either, on the bright side I won't have to nudge people into doing their work until they get annoyed with me because I hate being a bother to others as well. Being independent also means this project will be my own unique thoughts without interference. I like working out ideas by myself although critique is necessary I want this project to be my own authentic piece and my own authentic ideas. Having other people's ideas doesn't really make this my own and I may not like what others come up with so I trust myself...
