Girl is talking and playing with the doll

Girl: "We're best friends, right, Lucy?"

Girl continues talking to the doll despite a lack of response

"You're never going to leave me.

Scene 2

Mothers voice is heard in the background calling for the girl

Mother: "Dinner's Ready!"

Girl: "I'll be right there, Mom"

Scene 3

The girl walks out of her room without her doll

Zoom in on the doll

Non-Diegetic Sound: Sinister/Ominous song

Scene 4

Girl in the background leaving the kitchen

Girl: "Thank you for the food, Mom!"

Girl returns to her room while its nighttime

Lighting: Dark, Nighttime

Door opens with the light from the house peeking into the girl's room

Scene 5:

Lighting: Bright room from room lights

Girl checks where she left her doll at

Doll is missing

Girl calls out for the doll

Girl: "Lucy? Lucy where did you go?"

Non-Diegetic Sound: Mysterious song

Scene 6

POV through the girl's perspective as she's going around the house searching for the doll

Checks closet and rooms with nothing being there

Girl: "Hmm, where are you hiding? Couldn't have gone far"

Scene 7

Girl pulls out her phone and messages her friends in a group chat

Girl (Texting): "Hey guys, can you help me look for Lucy?"

Marvin: "Lucy? Who's that?"

Ashley: "She's talking about her creepy doll"

Girl: "Yes, can you guys' help look for her. I know its late, but I really would appreciate it"

Brittany: "Alright fine. Be right there."

Final Day of Filming for my Music Video

On the second day of filming, I finished filming all of the storyboard panels for my music video. I have to say that it was not an easy task. I had a lot of time to myself, so I decided to use that time to actually finish everything, but it wasn't easy because it felt like a time crunch even though I was free to do whatever I wanted. There were still a lot of scenes to finish from where I had left off, and I had to refilm some of them because the clips were too blurry for the final product. I also recorded scenes that I would edit into the music video to give it more personality and easter eggs, which sort of fits the theme of my music video anyway. It was also difficult to change costumes because I play both characters and edit myself into it. It's a difficult task, but it's not impossible.   - What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The opening sequence has one title card that starts with the name of the movie, starting off from white to red   - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? One image that gets prioritized heavily is the phone of Casey Becker. Another thing that gets prioritized is the house such as the doors, the kitchen, the stove. - What connotations do these images carry? The phone shows a mysterious voice that keeps on dialing her. The stranger continuously asks odd questions that begin to get intimidating. The movie uses the phone as a way to scare the viewer as the ringing continues. The movie also displays many parts of the house to make the viewer believe there is a mysterious danger lurking in a place meant to be safe. - How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?  For my Commerical Project, I will work alone. I think its the best way to go for me because I'm not really trusting of other people because I have no actual clue if they'll do the work or not and in the past I've had lots of issues with people not completing what they're supposed to be doing even with my friends. I can't really rely on others so that's why I'm holding full responsibility for this project. Working alone isn't terrible either, on the bright side I won't have to nudge people into doing their work until they get annoyed with me because I hate being a bother to others as well. Being independent also means this project will be my own unique thoughts without interference. I like working out ideas by myself although critique is necessary I want this project to be my own authentic piece and my own authentic ideas. Having other people's ideas doesn't really make this my own and I may not like what others come up with so I trust myself...
