Storyboard for my music video

 First Scene- In this scene there is a Medium Close Up of the First subject who is appearing to be singing the lyrics while having a pondering expression on their face

Second Scene- From the first scene the camera cuts to a two shot showing the second Subject in the music video who is sitting down in the background at a table appearing to be upset

Third Scene- We then get a Medium Close Up shot of the second subject who still appears to be upset about something

Forth Scene- Shows the first subject in a Close Up shot sitting on the couch watching TV still singing the lyrics to the song itself

Fifth Scene- The first subject then picks up a ringing phone still in a MCU, talking and reciting the lyrics appearing to be disappointed

Sixth Scene- The subject then puts the phone down in a close up shot of the table, which leads them to remove their hand and walk away from the phone just leaving it on the table.

Seventh Scene - In this scene we change settings and switch to the bathroom showing a two person shot of the First subject and the mirror, which both have different clips to them giving the illusion that the mirror has a mind of its own.

Eigth Scene- The same as the seventh scene, but subject turns their head to the camera as well as the mirror appearing to be aware of the prescence of it.

Ninth Scene-  We then cut back to a medium close up shot of the second subject in their bedroom, still appearing to be very upset about something

Tenth Scene- We then get a close up shot of their phone, showing the second subject pick it up in response to getting a message

Eleventh Scene- Another close up shot of the phone this time showing the screen and displaying a message of the current lyric to the song at the time stamp.

Twelfth Scene- We then switch settings again to the outside abrubtly, showing a fast close up of the sun in regards to the lyric about the sun.

Thirteenth Scene- The second subject shown in a medium long shot, sitting against the wall next to window looking at it because of an abrupt noise heard which makes them curious.

Fourteenth Scene- The same position as the 13th scene but this time the subject is getting up to go investigate the noise made outside the window out of curiousity 

Fifteenth Scene- A scene switch to them walking to the living room and out the back door to the patio in a Medium Close up which shows the subject appears to be hesitant on opening the door

Sixteenth Scene- A close up shot of the door knob to the back door, which shows the subjects hand twisting it gently to open the door.

Seventeenth Scene- We then get a medium long shot of the first subject who gets startled by the sudden noise of the door opening, which makes her turn around in response looking at our second subject

Eighteenth Scene- In an MCU shot we get shown the second subject still holding the door open and looking at the first subject in surprise and guilt

Nineteenth Scene- In this two person shot we get show both subjects looking at eachother like they were in the 17th and 18th scene.

Twentieth Scene- We are shown a Close up shot of the second subjects feet walking towards our first subject

Final Scene- We are shown both subjects next to eachother backs to the camera in a two person shot, closing off the music video with the conclusion.

Final Day of Filming for my Music Video

On the second day of filming, I finished filming all of the storyboard panels for my music video. I have to say that it was not an easy task. I had a lot of time to myself, so I decided to use that time to actually finish everything, but it wasn't easy because it felt like a time crunch even though I was free to do whatever I wanted. There were still a lot of scenes to finish from where I had left off, and I had to refilm some of them because the clips were too blurry for the final product. I also recorded scenes that I would edit into the music video to give it more personality and easter eggs, which sort of fits the theme of my music video anyway. It was also difficult to change costumes because I play both characters and edit myself into it. It's a difficult task, but it's not impossible. But what I did was work on all of the scenes for the first subject and then change into costume to fit into the second subject; the only difficult part was that I might have had to swit...

Title Design Research: Scream (1996)

  - What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The opening sequence has one title card that starts with the name of the movie, starting off from white to red   - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? One image that gets prioritized heavily is the phone of Casey Becker. Another thing that gets prioritized is the house such as the doors, the kitchen, the stove. - What connotations do these images carry? The phone shows a mysterious voice that keeps on dialing her. The stranger continuously asks odd questions that begin to get intimidating. The movie uses the phone as a way to scare the viewer as the ringing continues. The movie also displays many parts of the house to make the viewer believe there is a mysterious danger lurking in a place meant to be safe. - How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?  For my Commerical Project, I will work alone. I think its the best way to go for me because I'm not really trusting of other people because I have no actual clue if they'll do the work or not and in the past I've had lots of issues with people not completing what they're supposed to be doing even with my friends. I can't really rely on others so that's why I'm holding full responsibility for this project. Working alone isn't terrible either, on the bright side I won't have to nudge people into doing their work until they get annoyed with me because I hate being a bother to others as well. Being independent also means this project will be my own unique thoughts without interference. I like working out ideas by myself although critique is necessary I want this project to be my own authentic piece and my own authentic ideas. Having other people's ideas doesn't really make this my own and I may not like what others come up with so I trust myself...
